In an emotional crisis or thinking about suicide? Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. AlphaVitta is not an emergency service.
How It Works

From first message to ongoing care.

No walk-in intake desk, no re-explaining your history at every visit. Here's exactly what happens, in order, from the day you sign up.

01

Complete a confidential assessment

A short online questionnaire covers your symptoms, history, and goals for care. It takes about 10 minutes and can be done from your phone, on your own time.

02

Get matched with a licensed clinician

Based on your assessment and preferences, we match you with a therapist or psychiatric clinician licensed in your state. You'll see their credentials and background before your first visit.

03

Attend your first video session

Meet by secure video from wherever you are. Your clinician reviews your assessment, talks through what's going on, and builds an initial care plan together with you.

04

Stay connected between visits

Send secure messages to your clinician between sessions — not for emergencies, but for the check-ins that don't need a full appointment.

05

Adjust the plan as things change

Your clinician reviews progress at regular intervals and adjusts your care plan, including medication management when clinically appropriate — with the same provider throughout.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

How is my clinician chosen?

Matching is based on your assessment, your state of residence (clinicians must be licensed where you're located), and your stated preferences. You can request a different match at any time.

Can AlphaVitta prescribe medication?

Members matched with a psychiatric clinician can be evaluated for medication management. Not every condition or state allows every type of prescription through telehealth, and your clinician will walk you through what's appropriate for your situation.

What happens in a mental health emergency?

AlphaVitta is not equipped for emergencies. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. See our Notice of Privacy Practices and Terms of Service for more detail on the scope of our services.

Is my information private?

Yes. Health information is handled under HIPAA safeguards and is never sold to advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
